Botany class presentation
Research a plant that interests you. Bring the plant to class (or a sufficiently-big portion of the plant). While showing the plant to the class, give a 3-4 minute talk covering ALL of the following items. You can use a hand-held iPhone-microscope during your talk if that helps (it will be supplied). People are going to be fact-checking your answers while you speak, so they better be correct!

- Identify the plant parts. Be specific! Use your book.
- Explain this particular plant's life cycle. Research your book.
- What are it's "seeds"? Does it have seeds?
- How does it pollinate? Be specific! Research your book.
- What are the uses for this plant? Can you discover any? Medicines, paper, wood, strictly ornamental, shade, food for animals or humans, beauty/color, landscaping, clothing, chemicals, weapons, erosion control, lawns, boatbuilding, other industrial uses?
