• This is a traditional Algebra II course for 10th–11th grade students that emphasizes functions, modeling, and problem-solving. Throughout the course we focus on practical problems students are likely to encounter in real-life engineering, design, computer science, and finance/business. 
• We use the classic Prentice Hall Mathematics Algebra 2, First Edition (early 2000s; ISBN-10: 013062568x). Students benefit from direct teacher instruction and a printed textbook, rather than relying primarily on digital resources. 
• Supplies: A basic scientific calculator. Graphing activities are completed on Desmos, a free graphing calculator. 
• The course consists of two lessons each week; one live online webinar and one pre-recorded lesson which you can complete at your convenience.
