  • This is an introductory Anatomy-Physiology course, taught at a High School level. It is a perfect introduction for students who want to be involved in the healthcare field, exercise/nutrition, sports medicine, nursing, emergency responders, etc, or just want a better understanding of the human body.  
  • Prerequisite: Recommended completion of high school Biology.  
  • ​​The course is taught via live Zoom webinars. 
  • ​The required book is shown above: Tortora, 12th edition.  Amazon link  There should be plenty of used hardcovers in the $20-30 range. 
  • You will need access to a relatively modern computer with internet connection. A computer less than 5 years old should suffice.  You will need a webcam and mike to participate in the class.   
  • You'll be turning in your homework on Canvas. The assignment instructions and due dates are posted there. 
  • Recommended study time is at least 5 hours per week. ​
