The class covers a complete high school Biology curriculum, including chemistry of life, cell structure, cell energetics, genetics, history of life, bacteria & viruses, plant kingdom, animal kingdom, ecosystems, and related topics. The AP® version of the class requires additional work and lab analyses beyond the ‘regular’ class.
  • Textbook: BJU Biology, 4th edition (not 5th edition).  Amazon link   AP students will also use AP Classroom (you will receive a join code) and the Princeton Review AP Biology Prep book. Make sure you get the 2025 edition when it becomes available.  Amazon link
