Note: Apparently as of 2017 West Point Military Academy has stopped supporting this design simulation after 15 years of continuous operation. Until we find a suitable replacement, we'll focus on other things. Scenario: You have a budget of $300,000. Using the local contest code SDE01D, design and upload a bridge to our local scoreboard by following the instructions below. Your design must meet or beat the budget amount. Our local contest scoreboard for this design will be available at http://judge.bridgecontest.org/standings/local/SDE01D. It is updated about once an hour and includes the time of last update. Instructions: Enter the local contest code in the registration wizard at http://bridgecontest.org/enter/register/ in the final page for team contact information. Those who have already registered can still use the Update contact information link on the Team Home Page to add the code. Up to four codes per team are permitted at any time. Your contest is restricted to a single "design scenario" of the Engineering Encounters Bridge Designer 2016. (Some local contests allow any design. Yours is not one of these.) When starting the Bridge Designer,
To upload a bridge design: 1. Go to www.bridgecontest.org 2. Select Enter and Register & Log In 3. Enter your team name and password 4.
