Syllabus and Class Materials
Picture
The textbook for this class is Tortora's 12th edition
  • This is an introductory Anatomy-Physiology course with hands-on labs, designed for high school students typically in 10th-12th grades. We cover the topics which are usually covered in a high school A&P class. There is some memorization involved, but not nearly as much as a college course. This is an introductory course.
  • Textbook: Tortora, 12th edition.  Amazon link  There should be plenty of used hardcovers in the $20-30 range.
  • Supplies: You will need safety glasses for a few of the labs. I will provide lab coats and gloves when needed.
  • You will need access to a relatively modern computer with internet connection. A computer less than 5 years old should suffice.  You will need a webcam and mike to participate in the class.
  • Homework: You'll be turning in your homework on Canvas. You will receive a join code.
